Tsavo West safari Overview...

This 2 Day safari from Mombasa takes you to a savannah ecosystem of Tsavo West National Park comprising of open grasslands, scrublands, and Acacia woodlands, belts of riverine vegetation and rocky ridges and is home to all of 'Africa's Big Five' - Lion, elephant, buffalo, Leopard and Rhino among other wildlife. Accommodation will be in either budget/luxury safari lodge or tented safari camp.

Day 1: Mombasa – Tsavo West

Leave Mombasa very early in the morning for Tsavo West National Park, upon entry proceed for game drive en-route arriving at your pre-booked safari lodge or camp for check-in and for lunch. Afternoon safari game drive in the park visiting the Tsavo West National Park rhino sanctuary searching for the black rhino and other members of the Big Five – Lion, Elephant, Leopard and Buffalo among other wildlife and bird species. Dinner and overnight at your pre-booked safari camp or lodge.

Day 2: Tsavo West - Mombasa

Early morning breakfast then check out of your safari lodge and drive to Mzima springs where million of liters of water bubble from underground stream that run from Mount Kilimanjaro filtering through porous rocks in Chyulu hills and bubbling to form a huge clear pool that is inhabited by hippo crocodile and fish. Leave Mzima springs with game drive en-route and depart back to Mombasa arriving in the early evening.
